The Right Steps to Take When Sick

Who do you consult when you feel sick, your doctor, pharmacist or just anybody? People sometimes make the wrong decision on how to go about their medical conditions. But this warning is often ignored. Drugs produced locally or imported from other countries often pass through a regulatory agency like NAFDAC, whose primary responsibility it is to examine and ascertain whether they are fit for human consumption or not. But in the case of Mr Harry, the medicines he took had no NAFDAC approval and there was no expiry date on the label. Harry visited a quack who administered substandard medication to him. They often doesn’t know how to preserve medicines in order to maitain its efficacy. Next time you get sick, visit a qualified health care professional and get your drug from a proper pharmacy with a pharmacist that can be held accountable.
